Typically associated with cathedral complexes, a cloister is a covered walkway that run along side of a building forming a quadrangle in the center. Like any walkway, cloisters are places where people converse outside of church about topics of all sorts and exchange ideas and issues of the time.  This blog is a essentially extension of ongoing conversations in my family for the past several years in the cloister of our own homes.  Many nights we find ourselves talking into the wee hours of the morning, long conversations on the phone, back and forth on texts messages.  We both have a passion for people to come to know the Lord and to become more like Him. We have a deep love for the beautiful and formative nature of the Anglican tradition and believe it is a magnificent way of worshiping God with our whole being, bringing people to know Christ, and forming the Church to continue to carry out the Great Commission.  So this blog will be an outlet for our thoughts on the Church, liturgy, music, tradition, history, and various adiaphora (things not essential to the faith).  But it will also include our thoughts on current events, life, travel, family, and our other passions!
