Like the rest of society, the Church has developed systems of customs and protocols relating to forms of address, styles, and titles. Sure, there are those who disregard such things as archaic or pretentious. Though for many they are helpful and beloved ancient traditions that help their faith and life in the Church.

The Apostolic Lineage of the ACNA

Regardless myriad of beliefs about the Historic Episcopacy and Apostolic Succession, we as Anglicans and catholic Christians have always held the episcopacy in high regard  It is sadly obvious that by merely being part of this lineage has not always meant a preservation of the apostolic and orthodox teaching.  Physical lineage may be important, but adherence to the doctrine and teachings of Jesus Christ handed to us by the Apostles is, and always should be, essential to the life and mission of the Church.

To Be A Cathedral

As the ACNA moves out of its infancy and a focus on parish church planting, we should consider the founding of other timeless church institutions, like cathedrals, that have the ability to fully and corporately live out the Prayer Book spiritual life that draws so many people into the Anglican Way.
